Design
Relying on our collective educational background and development experience, our team of biomedical engineers can quickly deliver creative concepts for your medical device.  One of the first steps in the project will be an internal brainstorming session to build on the concept(s) you have provided.  Utilizing state of the art software, CAD images of your device will be provided to you to quickly gather your feedback.

Prototypes
With a well-equipped prototype lab and a network of local and national vendors, Launch Medical can quickly produce your medical device prototypes when the project moves to that stage of development.  Our in-house equipment includes an Eden 350 3D printer, a manual mill, a CNC mill, a manual lathe, a CNC lathe, a wire EDM and a 7 axis Swiss machine as well as grinding, welding and polishing capabilities.

Testing
Currently, we do not have any in house mechanical testing capabilities.  However, we do utilize several external sources for testing the designs.  In collaboration with these sources we establish the test protocol to ensure the device will be safe for its intended use and to meet the requirements for FDA approval/clearance.

Intellectual Property
The most critical element of your medical device idea is the intellectual property.  Every step in the development process is taken to protect and enhance the value of your intellectual property and medical device concepts.  Launch Medical uses several law firms experienced with medical devices for our patent searches and patent applications.

FDA Submissions
Working in tandem with our regulatory consultants, we identify early in the project the regulatory pathway with the FDA.  Whether the device qualifies for a 510k, a PMA or an IDE, Launch Medical has the resources and experience for our FDA submissions to facilitate the process.

Financing
The executive team at Launch Medical has numerous venture capital and banking contacts.  Whether your medical device needs additional capital to develop or if a new company start-up is more attractive for your medical device than licensing or selling the technology, Launch Medical has the contacts to help secure the financing.

Brokering
The executive team at Launch Medical has many contacts who are executives at established medical device companies.  Various exit strategies will be evaluated such as product licensing, royalty agreements, distribution agreements or outright selling the technology.  We will work closely with you to determine the best fit for your medical device technology.
